The Sky To My Rain

Calvin Morrow is an alias. All my poetry is about one single woman. I really like reviews so I can perfect it. Maybe one day she'll know...

Surely as the stars lace the night Texas sky
My sentiments in your regard shall not die

As the salt to the sea; the grass to the plain
To your wide open sky, I can be the rain.

A summer field, in all its splendid glory
Can't rival the beauty of your soul's story

There isn't a thing about you that fails to meet
My picture of perfection; purity so sweet

All the wonder that you hold would never fail
To keep me dreaming of lifting more of your veil

There's nothing about you that I cannot love
Darling, you're everything I could ever dream of.
