In my soul I caressed her; oh caressed
She twined and twined around me impressed
As a gentle breeze, lightning bright and so deep a flame
And so a calling, calling horripilate thrill
As the sweetest, sweetest nectarine coolness
As the honey-dream in me, she did shine
Then, then grown as ambrosia fine

And turned as my darling; her fragrance soul
In my soul I caressed her; oh caressed
She grew as a flame a flame so impressed
