The crooks you fear could live next door
or just around the block.
They're not the ones you're searching for
with their savvy to mock.
The crooks you fear could take the gold
or have a sense of pride.
They're not the ones you're clapping for
with their savvy to hide.
The crooks you fear could look just fine
or show a perfect smile.
They're not the ones you're bracing for
with their savvy to wile.
The crooks you fear could work for you
or play the role of friend.
They're not the ones you're tracking for
with their savvy to blend.
