You can't return to the same face,
wrinkles of time must show.
You can't return to the same mate, rivers of life must flow.
You can't return to the same date,
moments of time must show.
You can't return to the same care, rivers of life must flow.
You can't return to the same fare,
rations of time must show.
You can't return to the same smile, rivers of life must flow.
You can't return to the same style,
fashions of time must show.
You can't return to the same ease, rivers of life must flow.
You can't return to the same breeze,
currents of time must show.
You can't return to the same start, rivers of life must flow.
You can't return to the same heart,
desires of time must show.
