Return The Kiss

Professor, therapist, author and poet.

Please return the kiss I gave. It wasn't meant for you.
Now I know I must save my lips for someone true.

Please return the love I gave. It wasn't meant for you.
Now I know I must save my heart for someone true.

Please return the hand I gave. It wasn't meant for you.
Now I know I must save my aid for someone true.

Please return the smile I gave. It wasn't meant for you.
Now I know I must save my joy for someone true.

Please return the trust I gave. It wasn't meant for you.
Now I know I must save my faith for someone true.

Please return the care I gave. It wasn't meant for you.
Now I know I must save my balm for someone true.

Please return the pledge I gave. It wasn't meant for you.
Now I know I must save my vow for someone true.
