No one saw the coming
No "danger" signs were seen
There was nobody drumming
Yet the results were keen
No one saw the planning
No "prepare" signs were paid
There was nobody scanning
Yet the results were made
No one saw the killing
No "murder" signs were set
There was nobody shelling
Yet the results were let
No one saw the hiding
No "bury" signs were born
There was nobody chiding
Yet the results were torn
No one saw the leaving
No "egress" signs were clear
There was nobody grieving
Yet the results were dear
No one saw the pending
No "future" signs were spent
There was nobody tending
Yet the results were meant
