Lady of Fashion

Wear a rainbow for your cloak,
a silken web to glove your hand;
drape dew-drop diamonds around your throat
and bind your feet with moistened sand.

Or, maybe ermine for the winter scene;
ice crystals frame a pristine face.
Pillowed puffs encircle sky-blue eyes
nestled deep in sparkling snowflake lace.

No lovelier lady in stylish cloth.
As changing seasons tantalize and tease,
Mother Nature plays the fashion game
with never ending elegance and ease.
