I'm Becoming More Like Me

Professor, therapist, author and poet.

What I was in early days
I'm displaying in more ways.
My true convoluted maze reflects my lifetime forays.
When I travel planet-wide
I'm emerging open-eyed.
My true character inside reflects my own inner pride.
Where I see a looking glass
I'm observing unique class.
My true devious morass reflects my snake in the grass.
Why I wish to be a czar
I'm revealing as bizarre.
My true independent star reflects my ultimate spar.
How I craft a masterpiece
I'm staging as expertise.
My true labors for surcease reflects my desire for peace.
With each passing year I see
I'm becoming more like me.
My true personality reflects my biography.
