Takiyla Mockingbird

Hate Plays on Fear

As the blood spills on the floor
She runs out the door
Going under too fast
How long will this last?
Her body is racked with convulsion
She can't live with this ocean
The fears spill over her like waves
She dosen't eat for days
All because of a missed phone call
That suckie trip to the mall
As she gives her mind time to rest
She feels the pain rip apart her chest
She tries to hold back
But her body goes slack
When she awakes
She's beside too many snakes
Who's that lying on the floor
He's gone And I'm here
And now we know why
Hate plays on fear
