Christ Cries

Dreams sucked away with one snort of cocaine.
Homes forever broken with hopeless pain.
The results fill people with tears and shame.
A mother was once a child's heroine.
Now her positives involve heroin.
Negatives become dominate herein.
Men's days are dark and consumed by reefer.
Satan is their permanent soul keeper.
For them I pray like Mother Theresa.
We chase highs while kids starve in Manila.
Mouths crying out for food are their thriller.
Malnourishment is their malice killer.
The perversion of humanity puts tears in my eyes.
Human history often makes me wonder if Christ cries.
