Blowing wind, Pouring Rain

IntroductionForgotten are the times the tick of a clock once chimed sobering sounds that caressed my hearts nightly dreams. As I awaken to the touch of light that burns upon a candles wick flickering my words for all to see. This drives my thoughts through the darkest of nights of loneliness that r…

Blowing Winds, Pouring Rain

A wind blows
through my heart
as it did once before

It has taken away my love
as the air swirls
and the rain pours

I do not know
what happened
to cause this change
in weather

For in a field of green
we made passionate love
deep
within the heather

We pledged our love
within the meadow
coupled as one

 A gale blows
on my soul
unrelenting to the sun

Forbidden
 is the last glimpse
of her skin
to the dropping rain

Angst is my heart
forever floundering
in a new world of pain

For the ray's light
no longer shines
on our love and
I do not know why

As a drizzle empties
upon my soul
where it pools within my eyes

It becomes the blackness
of my life
as the squall rages by

In a blustery storm
that blazes
within my heart
where my love now lie's

It has taken away
my desire
as the air swirls
and the rain pours

A wind blows
through my heart
as it did once before
