Autumn Love

Professor, therapist, author and poet.

Many hearts have come and gone
in Spring and Summer love.
Matching souls from later dawn now fit like hand in glove.

Sunshine warms the leafy fronds.
Sweet flowers bloom in Fall.
Rushing waters become ponds. Deep caring heeds the call.

While time seems to quicken pace
we slow exigency.
Gentle touches now replace a sense of urgency.

Authenticities redound.
Forgo the puppeteer.
Sharper edges have worn down. Rise up the gondolier.

In the Autumn of our dance,
yet not too late to know,
we have found a true romance before the Winter snow.
