Larry Covington

Artist

The crowd was surrounding a new one
Can any join this group of admirers?

From the center of attention came a buzzing
Oh, no, not another Dizzy-Lizzy mouth organ.

Sing-speaking rhythms of a trapped soul
Searching for the key-holder, trapped delusions

Imagined bars blocking him within himself
A common, new but common, dilution mind

As the crowd disperses, the loudness fades
Exposed as ‘just-another-crack' in the human soul.
