Serendipity

I am a senior citizen, visual artist, and inspirational poet. My spiritual quest to know Jesus Christ intimately relates to many of my rhymes. However, I also write romantic rhymes and rhymes drawing from other topics. One of my goals is to illustrate my rhymes with my original drawings.

When you close your eyes,
Drop that disguise,
Smile and sigh, remember me.

Our love sprang up, a clear surprise.
It helped me be who I was meant to be.

Under God’s all-knowing eyes,
Spring erupts in a Cherry tree.

Marvel at each exquisite sunrise.
Society might forgive you and me.

Let go of yesterday. A woman tries,
Shines as a reformed devotee.

Love heals heartbreak. Overcomes lies.
It sparkles essential, always ‘key.’

All the wise know love never dies.
Intuition enables us to ‘see.’
