Tabatha

you forgot...

A woman deep in self expression and who endured a lot and came out on top.

You text her every day,
"good morning beautiful"...
It’s the things you say...

You make everyone,
believe she's yours,
You like,
you comment,
you reinforced...

A world of king and queens,
Now she's living within this dream,
You gave her something to believe...

She gave you everything,
especially herself,
Perhaps "Too much"?
And you began,
To be about one self...

Time starts to pass,
Rapidly without a feeling,
And things begin to clash...

How can she heal,
Or repair the way she feels?
She's is love with a you,
The person you used to be,

The one you pursued,
You loved her,
Now love is overdue,
You forgot to kiss her,...
You forgot to hold her,...
You forgot to listen...

And now things start to register...

You can't turn back,
You suppress all your regrets,
And you feel trapped...

You spend every night thinking about her,
You begin to reflect on your choices,
And understand how she suffered...

Now you can love again,
Knowing love is more,
Than a temporary game of pretend...

~Always be true to one self,
being who you are throughout,
loving only what your about...
