The world is cruel
The people are cunning
Everyone holds selfishness
Tricks, yellow diplomacy
Own reservations, concerns
Love has eyes
To see beauty, wealth
Status, rank
Otherwise
That exists only
In the books
And in the stories
All that matters
No one cares
No one thinks
No one feels
Your flirts
Your jokes
Maybe that stay
Your pleasure
But that can hurt
And destroy
Someone's life
Why do we choose
The evil subjects
Rather than constructive way
To make life beautiful
For ourselves and others.
