Jesus Came For All

Jesus came for all,
the young and the old,
to answer his call
no deed is too bold.

For women he cared,
the children he held
the brave men who dared
he did not repel.

He broke all blockades
to bring us release,
a wife immigrates,
God turns odd into peace.

He had a mixed blood
he came to be mine,
Tamar, Mary and Ruth
took part in his line.

He pitied the poor
the hungry he fed,
and sickness and death
in torment from him fled.

The lonely and fearful
he came to console,
not judging the doubtful,
he came for us all.
