It's Tuesday night again.
I stayed awake again.
You dared to call again.
This time I let you in.

Soldiers, up.
Guns be ready.
War is here and gettin' heavy.
Soldiers, work.
Guns be quick.
Patience for the medications,
Sun is down, and I am sick.

I found my friend again.
And I escaped again.
The river's red again.
Silver is deep within.

Soldiers, up.
War is heated.
Sun is down, and we're defeated.
Soldiers, pray.
God is here.
Kiss your wives and say goodbyes.
War is lost, and you should fear.

It's Wednesday night again.
I stayed awake again.
You dared to call again.
Again I let you in.
