Arthur Henry Adams was a journalist and author. He started his career in New Zealand, though he spent most of it in Australia, and for a short time lived in China and London.






Along the lamp-lit streets they glide and go:
 Here Nature in her brutishness is nude:
 See, thinly trickling from the age-old wound,
 The steady stream of squandered womanhood!
