Jonesin

Blake in a pawn shop

She said you're gonna want me
Outta my mind
When I'm in my mind I'm crazy
When I'm out of it I'm wild
We hung out in the bargain stores
She asked me to help her choose
Trying to find a straitjacket
That didn't clash with her shoes

We went for a wild crazy ride
In and out of her mind
In and out of crazy
In and out of wild

Ancient wisdom in a hollow
A million year old child
When she was in her mind I was crazy
When she was out of it we were wild
Pills and booze and heroin
Amphetamines and love
I barely survived the withdrawals
From the stuff that she's made of

We went for a wild crazy ride
In and out of her mind
In and out of crazy
In and out of wild

You know, there's just no coming back
From the people that you meet sometimes
They change your life forever
Rearrange the directional signs
So here I sit eating potato chips
Turning into another cliché
Kathy is nowhere to be found
And tomorrow's just another day

We went for a wild crazy ride
In and out of her mind
In and out of crazy
In and out of wild

I'm all out of crazy
And she's all out of wild
