My poetic journey began with a gift for my dad- a poem I had slaved over to write, telling him he was my knight in shining armor. That was many years ago, and now, I speak in rythym and rhyme as easily as anything. It is a way to express something that needs said in a way that can be received easily, as well as simply making a beautiful use of the words available to me.
