I have 15+ years of experience working with special needs students and now I work for a non profit organization that has services for children and teens for in home therapy and therapeutic mentoring. I have written poems off and on throughout my life. It is a form of therapy you can kind of say. All my poems are things that I have experienced. This poem is how someone that is non verbal might feel but can't express those feelings or anything at all. They have no other way to communicate their needs, wants or anything.
