Philippe Soupault was born on August 2, 1897 in Chaville, Seine-et-Oise, France. He was a writer and actor, known for Plain-chant (1972), Les peintres du jeudi (1955) and Magies du piano (1962). He was married to Ré Richter. He died on March 12, 1990 in Paris, France.
