Nurit Kahana is a published, award winning feminist poet from Haifa, Israel. Since childhood, reading the classics and writing have always formed a large part of her life. The miraculous process of creating fiction out of reality, poetry and daily life - is one of her main interests. Nurit has published three poetry books in Hebrew, the first of which was sponsored by the Yehoshua Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts and the third, "LONDONITY"', was published in 2015 by the Carmel- Emda Hadasha publishing House. Nurit worked as a journalist in the Israeli national press, ("Haaretz") and as a spokesperson. The first- ever published articles in the Israeli national press about violence against women and sexual harassment were written by her, already during the seventies. She publishes articles on-line. She holds an MA in Political Science from Haifa University, Israel. More about Nurit’s poetry – on “POETIC” website: https://www.poetic.co.il
