Poems »

My precious wife and I are retired. She is incapacitated by a chronic illness and I am at her side 24/7. I began writing poems in 2018 when I joined a dementia caregiver’s support group convened by poet, Frances Kakugawa. My themes have been the stark emotions of losing a beloved and the soul damaging stress of nursing her over years.
