Poems »

I was born in 1974 in Lansing, Michigan. 3 months later I was adopted by Barbara and Bill Thornbury. They were a warm, loving, and happy couple. Though I had a great childhood, I took it for granted. My mother spoiled me, yet both parents instilled a strong work ethic. Whenever I asked my father for something, he always replied the same,"You can have whatever you can afford." For reasons I am still learning today, I acted out a lot and got in a lot of trouble. Particularly in school. I was sort of a dork, and had one or two actual friends growing up. I loved reading and movies. I loved comics and science. I even loved art, but I have always had a passion for writing. I have had quite a journey so far, but its too long to put here. Any way, Im 47, and I am just now really living and enjoying life and gaing my want to write again.
