I was born in Romania near the Black Sea. I loved having the water nearby. I did not speak a word of English when I came to the United States and I have a lot of poems written in my native language, ever since I was a teenager. It took me about 10 years to learn to express myself in writing in a whole other language than my own, but I never gave up, never stopped learning. I work as a makeup artist/skincare specialist and practice and teach yoga in my spare time, besides writing whenever inspired. I am a proud American Citizen for the fact that language is no longer a barrier in my poems, but a great challenge.
