I'm a 42 yr old widowed mother of 4 from Topeka Kansas.. I grew up in North Topeka and come from a violent and broken home an alcoholic violent father but an amazing mother who raised me and my brother and sister the best she could. She finally left my dad when I was 4. life was always a roller coaster I started using drugs and drinking very young. And went down many wrong roads. Made many mistakes and learned from them. Selling and cooking dope was all I knew. Dropped out of school several yrs later had kids got locked up my husband was murdered it's still unsolved. I've overcome the struggle of addiction and am a better person today then I was yesterday. When locked up I found God and that's what saved my life . After 25+ yrs of that criminal lifestyle I've been doing better more positive things with my life now since 2015. Clean from drugs for almost 10 yrs. And doing the best I can to be the best person I can be and take care of my elderly mother and four kiddos the best I can. My favorite thing to do is pay it forward. But my occupation is hydro dipping air brushing and custom painting cars. @ Top City's Most Wanted LLC. I use to write poems years ago but one of my best friends in the whole world died recently and I started writing again starting with a poem I wrote for his fiance who's pregnant with her first child and his only daughter. And for his son and little brother and mom.. and I just kept writing.
