I'm 35 years old and live in Birmingham Alabama. I've been writing poetry since I was 13. My parents are both deceased. My dad died in 2017 of cirrhosis of the liver because he had an alcohol addiction and my mom passed in 2020 from various complications and a broken heart. My whole life so far has been all kinds of struggles and poetry has helped me express my deepest thoughts and what's inside out.
