Gravity

So these eyes weep,
scourged by deathless isolation.
This vessel,
drowning
wanting yet never wanted
longing for a gravity
that will keep it
above water.

And these eyes adore you,
translucent,
so you may enter
this forlorn vessel,
for you are the gravity
that will keep it
above water.
