AGGRESSION (14/05/2021)
Streams of aggression
Surges through a lonely town,
Riots soon breaking out.

BALEFUL LIVING SEA (14/05/2021)
Baleful living sea
Swallows unwary swimmers,
Spits out skeletons.

CLOSING THROUGH THE MIST (14/05/2021)
Troubled by visions
Of evil, unsmiling twins,
Closing through the mist.

A DARK CAVE (14/05/2021)
Within a dark cave.
Terror slowly unravels
As your death draws near.

DAVY JONES'S LOCKER (14/05/2021)
Baleful living tide
Sending all its victims to
Davy Jones's Locker.

DIRE WARNINGS OF DEATH (14/05/2021)
Dire warnings of death
As something truly grotesque
Slithers after you

ELDER GODS APPROACH (14/05/2021)
Troubling images
From some Lovecratean world,
Elder Gods approach.

THE EYES HAVE IT
Corpses without eyes
Slimy, pink-white worms wriggling,
In their eye sockets.

FACES AT THE WINDOW
Swine-like squeals made by
Foul, inhuman creatures,
Peering through your window.

FEARFUL ALLUSIONS
Fearful allusions
Dark figures motivated,
By inhuman lusts.

THE FEARFUL LIFE
Death holds no terror
Failure is of no matter,
I fear only life!

FEAR PERSONIFIED
Every nerve end raw
And throbbing from sheer terror,
Fear personified.

THE FURIES
Screeching shrews attack:
Swoop around your face,
Flexing lethal talons.

THE FURY
Night’s dark mantle covers
A raging black fury,
Bearing down on you.

GARGOYLES
Gargoyles are resting
On the rooftop (wings folded);
Waiting just for you.

GARGOYLES HOVER
Gargoyles hovering
Above your bed (wings beating),
Hidden in the dark.

GAUNT SPECTRES LOOMING
Gaunt spectres looming
Out from nearby graveyards,
Terrorise the living.

GHOST LIGHTS
Ghostly lights beckon
Iridescent shimmering,
Take whoever will come.

GHOSTLY BLACK FIGURES
Ghostly figures near
Clothed in black with flowing capes,
Weaving taboo lore.

GIANT WINGS
Giant wings stretching
Beating at the sky, ready
To swoop down on you.

GLOOM (20/05/2010)
Gloom pervades the air
An aura of hopelessness,
Darkening your thoughts.

GLOWING RED EYES CALL YOU (I)
Two glowing red eyes
Burning into your brain,
Calling you to its lair.

GRAVE MURMURINGS (I)
Throaty voices murmur
Imitate the living,
Coiling round a grave.

THE GREATEST FEAR (I)
The point at which fear
Could grow no greater;
Every nerve end throbbing.

THE GREAT FLOOD (20/03/2009)
A flood of fear breaks
Over you like an ocean,
Drowning all your hopes.

THE GREAT RAINBOW SNAKE
A giant serpent
Coloured like a rainbow
Writhing ’cross the sky.

GRINNING, FLESHLESS SKULLS (I)
Grinning, fleshless skulls
On bones picked clean of meat,
By terrors yet unseen.

THE HARBINGER OF DEATH
A harbinger of
Evil to come: announcing
Your imminent death.

THE HAUNTED NIGHT (I)
A town lost to fear,
Of dark, faceless figures that
Walk the haunted night.

HEADLESS ABOMINATIONS
Headless creatures crouch
In an ancient, sunken crypt,
Hoping prey pass soon.

THE HEART OF THE MATTER (20/03/2009)
Evil surrounding you
The grip of sudden death,
Squeezing at your heart.

HELLSCAPES
A sky that rains blood,
Great billowing walls of flesh:
The landscapes of Hell.

HIS INNERMOST MIND
The pent-up ravings
Of a madman revealing,
His innermost mind.

HORROR SLOWLY HATCHES
Horror slowly hatches
Furtively emerges, to send
Chills through our hearts.

THE HOUSE OF DARKNESS
A house of darkness
Where evil creatures wait,
For unwary callers.

HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS
House of dark shadows
Where evil waits within,
For unwary callers.

A HOUSE OF HAUNTS (I)
A house of haunts
With an evil reputation,
Terror lurks within.

HOUSE OF MISERY
House of misery
Where souls lost to torment,
Walk the eerie darkness.

THE HOUSE OF TERROR
House of terror where
Only fear can flourish, and
Only evil lives.

THE HOUSE OF THUNDER
Thunder clouds gather
Lightning lights up the darkness,
Round a dark old house.

HOWLING IN THE NIGHT
Howling in the dark
Late one lonely night:
A carnivore approaches.

HUGE, MONSTROUS HANDS (15/03/2009)
The cracking of bones
(As fragile as sticks of chalk),
In huge, monstrous hands.

HUMAN DISGUISE (19/03/2009)
Attractive women
Revealing themselves as fiends,
In human disguise.

THE HUNTER AND THE HUNTED
Sounds of the hunter
And the sounds of the hunted,
But which one are you?

HUNTING AFTER TWILIGHT (I)
Evil creatures slink
Through the spreading shadows, to
Hunt after twilight.

IN A DARK GROTTO (13/05/2021)
Terror is surging
Claustrophobia surges
In a dark grotto.

NOTHING HUMAN (14/05/2021)
Visions wrack your brain:
Visions of a kingdom where,
Nothing human lives.

ON THE PROWL (14/05/2021)
Evil readying
Foul creatures are on the prowl,
Needing soon to kill

AN OVAL ROOM (14/05/2021)
An oval room casts
Hideous living shadows
That swallows men's souls.

VERMIN (14/05/2021)
Fat and sleek vermin
In darkened catacombs,
Live upon the dead.

WHISTLING (14/05/2021)
Moving air whistles
Like a choir from Satan's realm,
Shrilling The Death March.
