#44 - Fatal Flaw

Julia Jedynak 1955 (Detroit)

Fatal Flaw

As Eminem once said
“Life is not a Nintendo game”;
You don’t get another chance.
F*ck it up, shut it up,
Close the door, wash your hands.
Scene replayed a thousand times.
Shock, anger, deception,
Can’t accept or forget.
The spell now broken.

You blew it up,
This can’t be fixed.
Kindness repaid
With deceit.
Respect replaced
By selfish lies,
Flowing, floating,
Crashing, smashing.
Open your eyes,
Watch it fall,
We can’t survive
This fatal flaw
