Horror Poetry Set #007

BEAUTIFUL FIEND (13/05/2021)
A beautiful fiend
Sensual but so lethal,
Readying to kill.

In the hot desert sands,
Glancing toward you.

A COBRA POISED
A cobra is poised
Rearing, readying to strike,
Inches from your face.

Ring out in the haunted night,
Evil being done.

The devil’s ways are many,
Torture being done.

As dark fiends lurch toward you,
Aiming for your throat.

CRIMSON DEATH (21/03/2009)

Within the deadly clutches,
Of the crimson death.

Eerie rattling chains
Moaning cries are heard within,
A crumbly old house.

CRYING TIME (06/04/2009)
A time of terror
Is drawing ever nearer,
Crying fills the night.

THE CRYPT
A dry crunching of bones
A loud smacking of lips,
Coming from the crypt.

DANGER (II)(20/05/2010)
Day turns to night-time
Safety turns into danger;
Something evil nears.

Night creatures prowling around,
Stalking you unseen.

Unaware what lurks within,
Lovers go to die.

Evil happenings
Touching all who pass nearby
A dark cul-de-sac.

THE DARK SIDE OF THE NIGHT (II)
Dark side of night, where
Evil stalks the alleys, to
Search for lonely souls.

DARK STAR (II)
Dark star sends no warmth
Down to the chilled minions,
Of this frozen land.

THE DARK THREAT
Dark threat approaching
Danger rushing like the wind,
Racing toward you.

DARK WATERS MEWLING
Dark seas crash on black shores
Producing strange sounds like,
Mewling from the waters.

THE DEADLY NIGHT
Darkness descending
Endless blackness overhead,
Night as still as death.

DEAD TOWN
Evil creatures haunt
A neighbourhood in hell,
No one dares go outside.

THE DEATH BELL
The death bell ringing
Calling demons from the sea,
To visit the land.

THE DEATH BELL PEELING
The death bell ringing
Peeling like the voice of doom,
Terror numbs your mind.

DEATH CARRIERS
Spreading death and fear
They move slowly through the night,
Bringing doom to all.

DEATH COMES CALLING (II)

You’re drowning in your fear,
As death comes calling

An angel of death
In black raiments; wielding a
Razor-sharp sickle.

Howling out like banshee cries,
Death is on the way.

Dark rituals performed
Late one evil night, that bring
Tragedy to all.

Grasping a new victim,
Killing him slowly.

The whispers of death,
Echoing in your mind.

DISTILLED TERROR (II)
A distilled darkness
Hunting lonely back-packers,
An alien terror.

Peering through death’s door and,
The doors of Hell beyond.

As your dark side awakens,
Soon you'll have to kill.

Ignorant superstition?
Or awful truth?

Shooting along your spine,
Like fingers of death.

Of giant mollusc tracks,
You follow unsurely.

Hallowe’en’s spirits
Striking at humanity,
Jealous of our life.

IMPENETRABLE SHADOWS (12/05/2021)
Impenetrable
Unstoppable, shadows move,
In your direction.

OOZING (12/05/2021)

Oozing 'neath the floorboards
Waiting to seep up.

Low whistling from
Impenetrable shadows,
Slithers after you.
