While goodness is sleeping,

Eager soon to feed.

Mournful cries are heard within,

Young demons in the making,
Learning how to kill.

Wispy shadows swirling
Dire warnings of terrors
Closing for the kill.

Cold fire burning brightly
Chills you to the marrow,
Burning without heat.

Icy cold rage burning bright,
Evil being hatched.

COLD SWEAT (II)

Too terrified to move, as
Fiends lurch toward you.

A slimy, bloated thing;

Tortured souls writhe
Tormented by alien horrors,
Creatures from the stars.

Life devolved to forms
Too monstrous to contemplate,
Creatures of darkness.

You sold your soul
For mere fortune and fame,
But now the creditor calls.

Evil things as yet undone,
Soon the time will come.

Wake you from deep sleep,
Horror creeps round your room.

Danger signs in the dark
Night-time evil approaching
Evil crouching near.

Sworn to do evil against,
All who live outside.

Where capering demons wait,
To invade your dreams.

The darkness embraces you
Holds you like a lover,
Drags you to your doom.

Darkness in her soul
Evil guides the actions,
Of this woman from Hell.

Darkness welcomes you
With long, shadowy arms,
Drawing you to danger.

Dark moon overhead
Foreteller of great evil,
Creeping, slinking death.

Faces and hands, in the dark night;
Closing in on you.

Run evil, loping creatures,
Hunting human prey.

Performed on a lonely hill,
Far from prying eyes.

Under the cover of night,
On a lonely hill.

Of unseen things in the night,
Snarling, phantom beasts.
