Bolts of Blue

Michael Levy 1945 (Manchester)

In the stillness of a moonlit night,
silvery beams of glistening light,
the eerie movements of formless clouds,
brief glimpses of their shadowy shrouds.

In blackness enveloped we surrender to the night,
the velvet warmth protecting our sleeping flight,
the darkness unfolds a dream of Spirit's vision,
a time not separated by mankind's division.

In dreams I am without a care,
ecstatic sensations without form, an air of flair,
waltzing between the stars, serenading violin strings,
surrounded by hosts of goodness, joy flying on wings.

Kingly visions up above, in an endless stream of love,
hearts of majestic lions, messages within a dove,
rocking gently in the cradle of creation,
the electrifying brilliance, a magnificent sensation.

Bolts of power from "waves of blue",
dimensions in space and time, all thoughts renew,
illusions of imagination transforming to creativity,
essence of the dream, designed by a Soul let free.
