Goodbye Mom!

The mood was solemn, all voices hushed,
her skin was pale and serene her face.
With senses fading, her voice spoke
Goodbye my children, our mother said.
Her two hands resting across her chest
as if in prayer, goodbye she said.
'til then dear mom, her children prayed.
A life last chapter just written then
