A Game of Fate

Eyes deceive me,
World is fleeting,
Love is thieving me, again,

Heart is failing,
Dreams are fading,
Life is leaving me, again...

So where did it all go so wrong?
Waning in a share of romance
that was going so right,
Then falling with a bewildered heart
that went so wrong,...
...So don't mind if I fall apart, as I do believe in love...

O' yes, I do believe in a game of fate
When the chance of love comes around again,...

Promises are broken,
Voice is breaking,
Heartbreak is waking me, again...

Doubting reason,
On bye-gone seasons,
Settling on a brook of pain,
As biding lessons abide...

Evenings wake in a mourning glow,
Possibilities remain,
but the hope is gone in a lunar bow

Oh, I can't help it that I've fallen in love
For what else can I do?...

Time will mend and heal thy wounds,
As the soul will bind that blind emotion of love,
...So don't mind if I fall apart, as I do believe in love...

O' yes, I do believe in a game of fate
When the chance of love comes around again,...
