Still Lives in Me

Ah, as the world turns
reflections of you stir past me
as a shadow devoid of her place

Endless dreams of you
make my heart swell with agony
to distance my hope
from longing after you unceasingly

The blue decadence of the night sky
fills me with horror
for your star commences to fade
to distort the beautiful remnants of your face

Oh, how I wished that all had its origin
to explain to me all these things
that my heart so wishes to understand
for your heart lives in me

Your reverence is key
to unlocking the lost episode of my life
and to bring a beautiful closing to my heart

For my soul destines to rest till fruition
beyond the false misconception
of a dire dream
