The Wisdom After The Wish



Do not wish away those things of bother
nor the things fast gone on their own
these things can fill an empty cavern
or thrill an empty home

The rain comes now that we have nothing
but all the time we ever fancied
to do all the things we always wished for
and find ourselves alone too soon
