Past

Yana Gupta 2002 (Jharkhand)

Past is the past for a reason
Its been there and now its been gone
Stop doing things to fix it
Now it’s done and unmanageable, move on.

Whatever happens,
Happens for reason unknown
So let the card unfold
and the story be shown.

You can’t change what happened
No matter how hard you think
No matter how hard you try
And no matter how hard you cry.

So its the past and the past for a reason
That is where it’s supposed to stay
Live for today, not for tomorrow
Get up, Get out and start living.
