Open Sea
poem from:
Spare Moments Of Time are now Precious Moments of Essence
OPEN SEA
I gazed upon the golden beach,
then upon your body wrapped in lace.
I felt the wind pass through my hands,
your hair was out of place.
The wind then held us close enough,
looking for a place to go.
It went between your lips and mine,
my heart began to glow.
We stood upon the platform of rock,
that was anchored beneath the sea.
This was the very moment of time,
that stopped for you and me.
Let's turn around while holding hands,
and look at where we are.
The sky is blue, the sand is gold,
the air is brisk, the rocks are old.
We stand upon the slate of time,
together we'll be, I was told.
My life with you will grow as we,
and always deeper than the open sea.
