A Scurvy Plight

Stacy Mevoli 1983 (Cebu)

Shall I wait for thee
Oh, my forsaken destiny
Thou hath casted my soul an eternal despair
How could thine eyes be blind?

Shall I cling to thee
Oh, my divine love
When thine affection hath flown to misery
'Till the dusk of dawn shall greet me

Must I follow thine winding path
Oh, my beloved treachery
How could thine heart be of scornful mockery
Shall thou live forever in my dire reverie?

My oh my
Thine appetency for me hath tasted like bane
Hearken, my love
This damsel hath despiseth thee
"till death shall claim me
Vengeance thou must thole to thine grave
