You are more than a rainbow

Linda Acosta 1975 (Villahermosa)

You, the smile and the tear;
you are the nocturnal passion and the courage to get up every morning.
The restart in my dreams, the end in eternity of your reflection.

There's a yellow and orange sun in your daytime celebration
and a silver stain in your darkness,
the lights of the stars remind me of the brightness of your soul.

Purple blessing,
green lake, turquoise river,
refreshing cloud of pink to magenta vapor.

You are the fragile pale fizz into stormy sea,
violet flower sailing in the spring,
brown leaves falling into a melting with the depth...
... You are a hasty red hive of summer. Also,
the honey lazily smeared on the January toast bread,
the intensity of a daily coffee,
reading the grey diary.

Timeless colors, a mixture of experience and innocence,
in the palette of existential elements.
You are more than a rainbow,
the universe that lives in yourself,
the experience of pride: through being.
