Who Will You Be?

I just noticed the circle I'm caught within
There's nothing good and no way to win.
Beating all the odds was once a game I played
The only thing it taught me was how to keep the truth delayed.

The world continues to turn whether or not I even care,
So being lost in my own mind becomes so very rare.
As simple as it is to lose it is just a choice to fight,
Then in the end to feel better just knowing it was right.

Where did your passion leave you at for smoke to cloud your view?
The only evil lurking here was all created by you.
Do you want the day to come when all look down and say,
You created your own hell to live in come what may.

Where did you leave your passion and all the love you had?
Now you see what it has done making you so sad.
You feel the world should hurt the same or even worse than you,
So you invest all that you can to see it feels it too.
And when the sun has finally set upon your handy work,
The pain and sorrow you have brought will label you a jerk.
So why not give all that you can so others can see your might,
And help to lead a world astray back on the path of right?
