Right or Wrong

Is the choice you make right now really for the best
Or will it turn into something you eventually detest.
Honestly it's not whether it's for the good or bad
It will tear apart the reality you once thought you had.
There is no way to know what is right and what is wrong,
Neither makes you feel like you always will belong.
Can you continue to go on as you have before
Living with your guilt while wishing you had more?

We all go through life learning from our own mistakes,
Some have a heart of gold and others are just fake.
Only judge yourself striving daily to be more,
Find peace with your decisions to quell the inner war.
In the end your choices are what will make you strong,
It doesn't really matter whether you were right or wrong.

There is a consequence for every decision that you make,
The incorrect choice lets you learn from that mistake.
Though the times you're wrong seem to outnumber the times you're right,
Both tend to reward you with a measure of foresight.
For better or for worse what you need to keep in mind,
Is to accept who you really are and peace is what you'll find.
