roosevelt toney 1945 (pine bluff)

I met you and i loved you all on a wintry night the land was  filled with snow , ,and the earth was covered white,we laughted, we loved in the hands of ectasy,our hearts was filled with joy ,our live with jubilant glee,but somewhere in this wonderland ,all the joy was turned to pain,fate dealt it a deadly blow,radiant sunshine turned to rain,now i go groping in the midnight,searching for the light,that filled my heart with gladness on that cold and wintry night
