Tomorrow
If I leave here tomorrow
would you still remember me
have I been just a passing image
or am I something more...
Thru my own insecurities
and many heartaches i have endured
my vision is often blurred
reality and dreams are often inter-twined
Knowing what I want, hope and pray for
always seeming just out of reach
like chasing the wind
as if it were something to be caught
Is what I want just a dream
or can it be had
how can i know for sure
so as to forego the pain of being wrong
Afraid to say it out loud
in fear of certain reactions
afraid to hear what I want
believing that a dream could come true
So where do I go from here
do I look to the future
or stay safe in this hideout
secure in cold isolation
