Brave Sailor

Her shore stands before me its brilliant haze
The coast line vast rugged and raw
Her waves crash upon me a million ways
As her fury brings war to the shore
Port City in slumber, brave sailor's wife weeps
Waiting for him to return
As the streets they lie silent
And the people they sleep
As the lighthouses beacon it burns
Come home now brave sailor
Brave sailor come home
Come home now brave sailor return
Come home now brave sailor
Brave sailor Come home
The light keepers beacon it burns
In morning port city in slumber awakes
The shoreline lie quiet and still
As the wife of brave sailor continues to weep
At the loss thats to crushing to fill
As the ghosts of the brave lie frigid in grave
Their stories in memory and lore
Their mates they collect with hook and a net
Their tribute to bring to the shore
Come home now brave sailor
Brave sailor come home
Come home now brave sailor, return
Come home now brave sailor
Brave sailor Come home
The light keepers beacon it burns
