Beauty of life

When one experiences profound loss, the grief is often overwhelming and all consuming.

As time passes and we slowly etch out our way in the world, assuming a semblance of "normal life", the overwhelming despair becomes a lighter and lighter burden to carry.

Suddenly, a song...a scent...even something as simple as the feel of sunshine on a warm summers day brings that loss and despair back as though it just occurred.

The beauty of life and humanity is that nothing lasts forever, no pain nor sorrow.

We see the beauty of life in the simplest of things and in that we learn to live again, we learn to embrace life and all that it has to offer.

We learn that each day has its own beauty to present and in that beauty we find a way to continue....

And this my dear friend is the beauty of life
