Prose

A poet armed with a pencil
Will write all there is to write

He'll write himself as king
Prince, pauper or knight

He'll write himself treasure
Dragon's hoard and pirate plunder

He'll write of true love
Sadness and bliss

He'll write himself as emperor
A velvet glove on his iron fist

And should his empire be poised to fall
He'll erase it all
